    I ride a motorcycle but hate the full chaps so thought I would try these as it's always my calves that get pelted with bugs or rain. They seem like they will work. I listened to others on the reviews and bought an Xl that had same size calves. I have one calf that is a size 17 and one that is at 18 some people were saying these run large, glad I didn't go larger. Thumbs up on looks .Update : took them for a spin. They stayed in place and kept my calves protected. I was happy after my first ride .

    I use these on a motorcycle. The leather is nice, supple with a purple finish. Seems to be well made, I've been using them daily for several weeks and so far so good. Zipper is heavy duty and the elasticized leather potions look better than I thought and look like they'll hold up decently well.

    My daily driver is an HD 05 Electraglide Classic. I bought these to keep my legs warm as it gets cold here in NC. They are doing the job perfectly. They fit snug but not to tight. The wind doesn't go up my pant leg and the leather is thick enough to provide good insulation. Why only 4 stars? I really believe there needs to be a flap that covers behind the zipper. That won't stop me from buying a pair for my wife too.11.12.22 UpdateAfter using them in cold and wet weather, I'm upgrading to 5 stars. The zipper storm flap isn't necessary. The protection they provide is more than adequate when riding my motorcycle.

    After reading the reviews I was a little scared the size would be too big for my calves, so I went one size down and got XS, and they fit perfectly !I’m 5’7’’ and my calves are a little less than 13’’ stretched

    I have thick calves and was struggling to find half chaps to fit. These not only fit great but I was stunned by the quality. The leather is very nice, the stitching is very sturdy, and the zipper looks like it will last. I tried other brands and double and even triple the price. The sizing was way off and the quality was not great. I did have to try a couple sizes and ending up going down one size from what the size chart suggest because the stretch panel had a lot of 'give'. But now that I found the right size I am ordering a second pair!

    Lovely well made chaps they fit perfectly on a shorter and wider calf. They look smart and are wearing in well. Really love them will defo buy them again. My only bad point is it took quite along time for them to get shipped and reach me but they were worth the wait.

    I've ordered 3 separate pairs of half chaps in the past 2 months and these are the first that have fit properly. I have 19" calves and these fit comfortably without a massive zipper struggle and without being baggy in the ankles. I ordered a size down (an XXL) and they fit comfortably. They did slip down very slightly while riding, but nothing drastic and nothing that kept them from serving their purpose or got in my way. I will say, the rivet broke off one of the buttons after my first ride in them, so one no longer fastens over the zipper, but that won't keep them from being useful to me. Considering the price and the fact that I finally found a pair that fit right, I'm really not too upset about that.

    They are good quality, clean stitching, and thick enough to protect my calf. I spent half a day walking around in them and they stayed up without any sagging. Easy to put on and take off. I measured my calfs and ordered based on the chart and had a perfect fit.

    Just what I was looking for. Seems well made, although a little rough cut around some edges. My calf measures exactly 17" with jeans so I ordered a size XL. The fit is good, not too loose, but a bit of room left to stretch and they stay upright. I wish the zipper was metal instead of plastic, but time will tell how they hold up. I'll be wearing these on motorcycle rides when I don't want to wear expensive tall boots. The brown matches my cordovan ankle boots almost perfectly.

    I ride in endurance saddles so without fenders to protect my legs from sweat from my horse's side, my jeans were always getting extremely dirty. So I ordered a pair and they work great. They also give extra protection from the cinch buckles when giving leg cues. Highly recommend.

    These run large. I measured the widest part of my calf at 17inches and per the chart I ordered a XL (16in to 18in stretched) but when I got them they were loose especially in the calf. 1/2 chaps should be snug especially when you first get them but these were bulging loosely around my calf. Otherwise quality, leather and stitching were all good and I returned for the next size down.

    I can’t tell you how nice it is to find a half chap that fits my calves! I could probably size down honestly, I’m so happy I was able to find something that I didn’t have to get custom. And the price for the material seems pretty nice, wish the zipper wasn’t plastic but I’ll take it. I do hope they add heights in the future, they’re a little long for my short legs but still manageable and okay for schooling.

    I purchased these after getting burn from my motorcycle engine. I like the look and feel of them. Soft pliable and comfortable fit. Keeps the heat off my legs. The first set we got some of the stitching came out where the stretching part of the chap while at the HD 120 anniversary. We got the replacement set less than a week later! If I had more legs I would definitely purchase from A&H Apparel again.

    After purchasing 3 other half chaps and having to return them because I have short legs, but average size calves these came and they finally fit and were going over my knee. I got a size small, my calves are 15in's around and about 16ins high from floor to back of the knee and the smalls are working out great.

    These are super nice quality for the price. And since they are unisex and the size chart tells the size of the chap when the stretch panel is stretched i ordered a small, my calf measurement is 15 and the smalls fit perfectly and were not too short or tall.. the zipper is much heavier duty than other chaps i have had.

      How to Maintain a Leather Jacket.

      My leather jacket has white stains,
      what to do?

      Often times a soft hairbrush or slightly wet cloth can remove the white substance.

      Apply a good leather conditioner and then gently wipe with a dry cloth to remove the whiteness.

      If your leather jacket has gotten a little dirty, lost some of its color, or developed cracks, a professional leather cleaning service can restore its vibrancy and repair the damage so you can keep wearing your leather jacket for years to come.

      My leather jacket has wrinkles,
      how do I remove it?

      Rub the wrinkled area gently with your hands to smooth out the wrinkles.

      Apply leather conditioning products to keep it moisturized and free from dryness.

      Keep your jacket away from heat. Heat will dry out and cause leather to become brittle and crack. Never lay your jacket on or near a radiator or heating vent, and never iron or steam it yourself.

      What if your new leather jacket has a smell?

      Allow a few hours after taking the jacket out of the package for the smell to go away naturally

      Air it out by hanging in a well-ventilated area. Avoid hanging it under direct sunlight.

      What to do if you got the wrong size jacket?

      If your jacket is slightly big or loose, you can get it altered by your local tailor.

      Layering inside with a hoodie, if you are returning for exchange, please make sure the jacket is unused and properly packed in its original condition with all tags attached. Our Returns Department inspect each jacket very carefully.

      To make sure your leather jacket stays original, you must clean and take care of it.
      Here are tips on how to handle your new jacket the right way.

      Hang the jacket on a sturdy and durable hanger.

      Place the jacket on a table or a flat surface. Straighten the arms and make sure there aren’t any folds. Use your hands to stretch out the wrinkled parts of the jacket.

      Always hang it in the closet with enough breathing space.

      Don’t leave your leather jacket in the closet forever. Every few weeks, dust off and wear your favorite piece to make sure it keeps looking new.
