    Bought this for my son for Christmas. The leather has a nice weight & thickness. Seems durable, not like softer ones that wear out. He like the built in hood as well.

    I tried a few iterations of similar jackets. This one is the one I kept. It’s true, thick, top-grain leather and the liner adds a little weight as well to it that feels comforting when wearing it out.Things to note: the jacket is top grain as opposed to full grain leather. The highest quality leather out there is full grain, but you’re going to have to pay significantly more for that. Also, the jacket itself smells great—it’s leather and you can tell. But the dye used for the hood has a strongly acrid, chemical smell to it. I’d recommend ditching the hood after getting the jacket.Overall, this jacket is a winner. We’ll see how well it lasts over the next few months, and really put it to the test when winter rolls around again.

    This jacket screams quality and smells it too. The XL I ordered fits me great. Im 5'11" about 200. Also, it IS real top grain cowhide. I was afraid it wasn't because there are other jackets that look similar but are made of either PU leather or sheepskin. I went with this jacket because cowhide lasts longer than both. The liner feels like its made of a denim like material. It adds a little bit of bulkiness but at least I dont have to layer up in cold weather and the hood is an added bonus. I am happy with my purchase. Also, whenever my order shipped, Amazon had decided to change shipping status to "Undeliverable" for whatever reason. I contacted A&H to see if a problem had occurred during shipping. They checked the status of my order and saw nothing wrong on their end and reassured me that my order was on its way as scheduled. It got to me as scheduled. Safe to say that their customer service is good.

        How to Maintain a Leather Jacket.

        My leather jacket has white stains,
        what to do?

        Often times a soft hairbrush or slightly wet cloth can remove the white substance.

        Apply a good leather conditioner and then gently wipe with a dry cloth to remove the whiteness.

        If your leather jacket has gotten a little dirty, lost some of its color, or developed cracks, a professional leather cleaning service can restore its vibrancy and repair the damage so you can keep wearing your leather jacket for years to come.

        My leather jacket has wrinkles,
        how do I remove it?

        Rub the wrinkled area gently with your hands to smooth out the wrinkles.

        Apply leather conditioning products to keep it moisturized and free from dryness.

        Keep your jacket away from heat. Heat will dry out and cause leather to become brittle and crack. Never lay your jacket on or near a radiator or heating vent, and never iron or steam it yourself.

        What if your new leather jacket has a smell?

        Allow a few hours after taking the jacket out of the package for the smell to go away naturally

        Air it out by hanging in a well-ventilated area. Avoid hanging it under direct sunlight.
